Poppy Zip Top on the Hoof!

I wore my Poppy Zip Top yesterday. I paired it with linen pants (purchased from Loft) and espadrilles. I had to go to Logan to pick up DH, who had gone to his high school reunion in Washington, DC. I was easy to find in the crowd! πŸ™‚

As usual you look gorgeous. I have looked at that pattern for quite a while but don’t like tops up to neck. I love the shape of the top. would it work to make the very top front part into a V-neck or something like but still retain the shape.

    1. I’m not sure how well that would work, Lynda. The thing that concerns me is the front yoke, and how you could alter the neckline without throwing the proportions off there. Yesterday it was 90 degrees here, so I left the zipper open about 2 inches below the hollow of my throat. That was comfortable to wear.

Thanks to you and Cherie for the nice compliments! πŸ™‚

  2. Oooh, so good to see this made up, I have it in the pattern vault awaiting the right moment! I have a large bust and would probably wear it unzipped a little, hot weather or snow! Red is such an attractive colour and so good on you. Do you think it would work as an over layer in wool for winter perhaps? It’s winter here and brrrrr!
